I was challenged to choose a topic and write a haiku poem about it, I chose to do ocean. A haiku poem has 3 verses, the first one has to be 5 syllables, the next one is 7 and the final verse is 5. A syllable is a chunk of a word. I wrote 3 haiku poems about different depths of the ocean.
I found this activity challenging because each time I wrote a sentence I had to check if it had the correct amount of syllables.
